Cashew Delight Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie
Strawberry shortcake is such a nostalgic piece of my childhood. These days, I’m always looking for ways to create healthier alternatives to some of the foods that I love, while adding a nutritional punch that my clients can enjoy, as well!
Cashew Delight Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
1.5 cups almond milk
1 serving vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup coconut cream (or milk, canned)
1/4 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
2 - 3 tbsps chia seeds
1 - 2 tbsps of raw cashews (optional)
Optional: add a handful of spinach
Toppings (optional)
unsweetened shredded coconut
chia seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
Add all of your ingredients into a blender, mix and enjoy!
